XRD provides a graphical user interface (GUI) for Apple's Xserve Remote Diagnostics. This application, in conjunction with Apple's Xserve G5 Remote Diagnostics software (xrdiags) provides an easy to use testing console.

XRD has been tested with version 1.0.4 of the Xserve Remote Diagnostics.

XRD does not get around the necessity of having a working netboot server to use xrdiags. For information on how to create an xrdiags bootable diagnostic CD, look here.

XRD is free, and is released under the GNU GPL.
